The Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Analysis (CAFRAL), which is promoted by the Reserve Bank of India, is based in Mumbai, India. Its mandate is to build intellectual capacity in macroeconomics and finance and support policy analysis at the Reserve Bank of India.
CAFRAL is looking to recruit up to three economists in the above fields. Economists are expected to produce high quality research for publication in internationally reputed journals as well as support internal policy analysis. Successful candidates will be required to have excellent research and communication skills.
The current recruitment is at the Junior level - from fresh PhD’s and researchers with maximum 4 years work experience post-PhD. The position offers an initial contract of three years. Salary and remuneration will be commensurate with industry standards.
