Program Objective
While financial markets are the mainstay of matured and emerging economies the banks play crucial role in providing financial resources/ liquidity to the financial markets and their players. Banks themselves are key market players. Again, the Government crafts public policy framework and the financial regulators put in place range of regulations for processes, products and players to ensure that markets operate in a safe and sound manner.
This uniquely designed CAFRAL Program on Financial Markets provides capsuled learning for the economist, regulator and bankers in an interactive and cross learning mode. Practical exposures to market processes, products, players and infrastructure combined with insightful discussion on the economy in general and financial sector in particular is the hallmark of this program. This capsule Program will also serve as an induction for senior officers in regulatory organisations, banks and financial institutions who have recently moved to market related areas.
