Leadership Program for Women Executives in Banks, NBFCs & FIs

May 26, 2026 to May 27, 2026
Forum & Capitol, Hotel Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai

Background

This two-day program is designed to empower women executives in the Indian financial sector to become the leaders of tomorrow, without compromising on work-life balance. It aims to strengthen the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) framework within financial institutions, where leadership roles have historically been male-dominated. When women are well-trained and empowered, they do not just progress individually—they also transform organisational culture through their diverse perspectives, inclusive orientation, and multitasking skill sets. Participants can look forward to cutting-edge leadership insights, practical strategies, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. While many institutions have made progress in improving gender diversity at entry levels, this representation tends to decline significantly at higher levels of leadership. Structural barriers, limited access to leadership opportunities, unconscious bias, and challenges related to work-life integration often contribute to this gap. As a result, the leadership pipeline does not fully reflect the available talent pool, underscoring the need for targeted initiatives that support, develop, and advance women into leadership positions, while fostering a more inclusive and equitable organisational environment.

Objectives:
The two-day program seeks to empower women executives in Banks, NBFCs and FIs to become better version of themselves by learning cutting-edge insights on Leadership. Team Building, Gender Equity, Design Thinking & Innovation and Global Perspectives on women–led institutions. Participants can look forward to a rich and engaging learning experience that brings together Leadership insights, practical and actionable strategies, and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and exchange of views. The program will also facilitate meaningful dialogue, reflection, and networking, enabling participants to share experiences, build professional connections, and collectively explore pathways to leadership excellence in the evolving financial landscape.
